Beautiful stay at the Lamai, friendly and helpful staff and beautiful hotel
We absolutely loved our stay at the Lamai, the pool area was beautiful and peaceful, the staff were all very helpful and friendly and the room was spacious and comfortable. We would highly recommend staying here (breakfast was also amazing!)

Beautiful rooms, with average food.
The rooms are fantastic. Very spacious, and beautifully designed. This hotel really gave me them jungle / tropical vibes that can be so authentic to parts of Thailand.
Unfortunately on both occasions when I decided to eat and pay for a meal here it wasn’t great. The food really lets this place down. Breakfast here was fantastic, but dinner on both occasions wasn’t great. I also thought the waiting service was below average by one or two members - I was expecting high quality dinner service for high prices. I also didn’t like the pool area. It sits right in front of the bar / restaurant. So you constantly feel like you’re being watched when in the pool. Not an ideal pool if you’re self conscious. The hotel also only had one pool.

Real life Paradise!
From the first few seconds of arriving, I was blown away at the beautiful oriental style, greeted with the upmost kindness & humbleness & taken care of immediately with as much fine details explained to us in the short amount of time of arriving + arriving late at night but they made us feel soo welcomed, asked how we felt with all our baggage taken care of, room + amenities explained with a smile and the most spectacular view from our poll villa over a beautiful lit ocean view - ahh everything was absolutely breathtaking.
What's not to like!? THE STAFF WERE AMAZING! THE LAMAI SAMUI WAS OVERALL AMAZING TO SPEND OUR 8DAY HONEYMOON THERE WITH THE MOST DELICIOUS BUFFET BREAKFAST WITH A FANTASTIC VIEW WHILE YOU EAT OF THE HOTEL POOL, PALM TREES, BEACH, FLOATING OCEAN PIER SURRIUNDED BY FABULOUS KING PEOPLE OF KOH SAMUI. 10/10

What was the highlight of The Lamai Samui
Perfect resort
We loved everything; we didn’t want to leave the resort. The quality of the service was just outstanding.
The only thing we wish that would've been better is the laundry service. They didn't remove the stains from our clothes; it looked like they just threw the clothes into a washing machine, and that was all. Despite this, I must insist that this resort is just perfect.
